Achievement

The present Rampur union was formed in the early 1960s under the rule of British during the British rule . At that time the chairman of the Union was called a village president. In 1961, the term of the village president's post was announced as the Union Chairman's post. In 1963, the first village president Atiqul Islam was nominated as the first union council chairman and during his war of liberation he was the chairman of the union. After the independence of Bang Dasland in 1971, Tamiz (2nd time elected), the chairman of the Union Parishad, was also in charge of the post. At present, 8 small villages of Rampur Union Parishad.
